Questions
The CORA Foundation will accept grant applications that clearly relate to its Mission. All applications should fit into one of three categories: Multi-Year Cultural Grants (two to four years); Impact Grants (one year); and Responsive Grants (immediate request). As the CORA Foundation is based in the United States, the grantee must be or partner with a US affiliated 501C3 non profit.
Generally the CORA Foundation will decide its annual and multi-year grants about a year in advance; decisions are often at Spring and Fall Board Meetings. Grant requests must be made a minimum of 30 days in advance.
Grant requests will be considered for projects that last from three months up to four years. If your project lasts less than a year, then you would apply for an Impact Grant. If your project spans two to four years then you would apply for a Multi-Year Cultural Grant. If you need immediate support then you may be eligible for a Responsive Grant.
Yes! The CORA Foundation supports projects worldwide as long as they are affiliated with a USA 501C3 or have a partner organization to pass through funds (restrictions may apply).
For grants over $10,000 USD, an Annual Project Report (350-500 words) with impact, goals and budget updates is required midway through a project and at the end of the grant term. Simple budget reporting is important for all grants. The CORA Foundation requests a grant point person and their contacts.
